Professor Ts. Dr. Hanafi Ismail is currently Director of Innovation Centre and Consultation, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Fellow Academy of Science Malaysia (FASc) and ex-Dean School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering. Professor Hanafi won many awards mostly Innovation Awards. Professor Hanafi was listed as “ The Most Cited Researchers 2016 by Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) in Chemical Engineering. In 2017, Prof Hanafi was selected as one of the Editorial Board for Polymer Testing (ISI, Elsevier) and J Rubber Research (ISI, Springer). Again in 2019, he was selected as Chief Editor for Progress in Rubber Plastic and Recycling Technology (SAGE), another ISI journal. At national level, he is also one of the Editorial Board for Journal of Physical Science (Scopus), International Journal of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering (Scopus) and Journal of Electron Microscopy Malaysia. Prof. Hanafi is Fellow of Academy Science of Malaysia and Top Malaysian Scientist 2012.
